Gordon Institute of TAFE
The Gordon Institute of TAFE is the Technical and Further Education institute servicing Geelong since 1888. It has 3,500 students annually studying on-campus, off-campus and in business or industry (2018). The Gordon Institute of TAFE also runs an English Language Centre at its Geelong campus, which is quality endorsed by NEAS Australia.
The Gordon has campuses in Geelong, Colac, Victoria, East Geelong, Victoria, Hoppers Crossing, Victoria and Werribee, Victoria. It was named after General Charles George Gordon after his death at the Siege of Khartoum.
Students can choose from hundreds of short courses and nationally accredited qualifications across apprenticeships, traineeships, certificates, diplomas, and advanced diplomas, which can lead you to a great career or create a pathway to University. The Gordon also embraces the partnership model; working with secondary schools, universities, employers, and the community in programs that deliver real benefits.
