Whitireia New Zealand, previously called Whitireia Community Polytechnic and Parumoana Community College was established in 1986 on the shores of Porirua Harbour  and today it has its campuses in Auckland, Wellington, Petone and Porirua. It is a government-owned and funded tertiary education institute in New Zealand.

Whitireia New Zealand offers a range programmes of study at certificate, diploma, degree, postgraduate and Master’s levels. Their programmes have been developed in conjunction with industry to offer excellent applied qualifications.
