GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test. It is a computer adaptive test, which is most commonly use as the test as one of the many selection criteria for enrollment into an MBA program in United States of America and Canada.More than 7,000 programs at approximately 2,300+ graduate business schools around the world accept the GMAT as part of the selection criteria for their programs.The GMAT exam measures basic verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills that one has developed in his education and work.

The GMAT has four sections: Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated reasoning, Quantitative section and Verbal section. The total GMAT score ranges from 200 to 800 and measures performance on the quantitative and verbal sections together.  Scores are given in increments of 10 in each question. The full length of GMAT test is around 3 hour and 15 minutes which is followed by following structure:

GMAT, is flexible in terms of test dates and results are available online after two weeks of test date. It’s score is valid for five years from the test date.
